When an origin belongs to several FTAs, compare:

  • The published rate for the import year/period.
  • Whether the origin is excluded from the rate.
  • Product-specific origin rules and the supplier's ability to meet them.
  • The proof of origin and procedures.
  • Trade remedy measures – not waived by FTAs.

The Smart Tariff Advisory ranks options on several criteria and always separates "published rate" from "eligibility verified".
